I always prefer to place our kittens in loving pet homes. On rare occasions I consider selling a kitten for breeding but only into small catteries with familiar environment. I am very selective in choosing the future owners of our kittens as I want to make sure that our kittens/cats have the best responsible & loving homes. Therefore I select potential new owners carefully!

Our kittens are raised with lots of love and care. They are in a kitten room for the first couples of weeks, until they are old enough to safely run the whole house. All of our cats have free access to all the rooms and on good weather they can use their secured enclosure. I do not believe in permanent separating or even caging and I do not want this for our cats and kittens in their new homes either!   

Inquiries from breeders I will only consider if they also:
   - only breed with HCM-DNA (Meurs) negative cats
   - screen their cats for HCM regulary by a certified cardiologist
   - x-ray the hips of their breeding cats for HD (preferably rated with OFA or Pawpeds)

The kittens leave our home:
   - not before the age of 13-14 weeks or older (pet kittens will be early neutered/spayed)
   - de-wormed and fully vaccinated (of course breeders will get rabies shots also)
   - microchipped and equipped with an 'European Pet-Passport'
   - with a pedigree issued by TICACats e.V. – Germany
   - with a written sales contract (incl. specified health guarantees and breeding & sales conditions)

I do not ship kittens/cats to their new home, I always like to get to know the new owner in person and I may also choose to bring the kitten into it’s new home myself to get an idea of it’s future living situation.  

All the above is to give you an idea of our attitude and believes toward our cats and our breeding. If you are interested in a kitten out of our cattery and you do agree with the above requirements, please feel welcome to get in touch.
